“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” – John 4:24

History

How it all started

The Singapore government implemented the circuit breaker measures from 7 April 2020 to 4 May 2020 to minimise the spread of Covid-19.
“As earlier announced, organised sporting programmes and religious services will remain suspended. Places of worship will be closed.”

We are grateful to God that our church did not miss a single Sunday of worship during the Covid-19 pandemic because we implemented our own Virtual Worship. God raised up Deacon Samuel Chng and his brother, Daniel, to spearhead MCBC virtual worship.

Here are some of the pictures that show what we did during the time when we could not meet onsite for worship, but we met online to continue worshiping “God in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24)

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we were assembling as a church by worshipping together online in our own respective homes, and praise God, we can still worship Him in spirit and in truth.

This was the beginning of our Church Digital Ministry. By God’s grace, we will continue to use media, design, and technology to share the message of Christ and support the outreach programme of our church.
